ABOUT THIS DOWNLOAD
- Name: Firmware update V1.20 for Canon EF to EF-M (EOS M) and EF-RF (EOS R) T Speed Booster® ULTRA
- Release date: 09 Jan 2020
- Benefits and improvements:
- Add support for film-era Sigma lenses which would have given an Err-01 when used with Canon's own adapter when a picture is taken at any aperture other than wide open.
- Faster autofocus for Canon EF70-200mm f/4L IS II USM at 200mm.
- Fixed scenario where a third-party extension tube or teleconverter is used on Metabones, manual lens EXIF emulation (aka 'chip') is turned on, and an electronic lens is subsequently mounted on the third-party extension tube or teleconverter, Speed Booster will now correctly talk to the lens instead of remaining in manual lens EXIF emulation. A lens reset by pressing and releasing the lens lock button of the Speed Booster is still recommended.
- Add support for camera firmware versions EOS R 1.6.0 and EOS M50 1.0.3.
- Name: Firmware update V1.10 for Canon EF to EF-M (EOSM) T Speed Booster® ULTRA
- Release date: 22 June 2019
- Benefits and improvements:
- Improved startup time by 0.08s
- Fixed compatibility issue with Tamron 10-24/3.5-4.5 VC HLD B023E. (Reminder: APS-C lenses are used with Speed Booster to mitigate the 4k video crop. The image circle is not big enough to cover the entire sensor for full HD video or still photography.)
- Fixed issue with MaxAperture field missing from EXIF when a f/1.4 lens is used.
