Using Manual Lenses

Important: if your camera supports IBIS (in-body image stabilization), letting the camera know about the focal length is essential for proper function.

 

After attaching a manual lens (with no electronic contacts), press the push button on the EF-X Speed Booster, Smart Adapter or EF-GFX Smart Expander/ Smart Adapter to bring up the manual lens selection menu on the camera's LCD screen.
